Swift Satire Competition

And while I'm on about satire just a mention for our Swift Satire Competition closes on Tuesday next. This year's theme, Travels Into Several Remote Nations Of The World: Ireland 2011, has been prompted by the sudden interest among prominent dignitaries - so far, Queen Elizabeth and President Obama - in visiting Ireland this year.

Entries have been trickling in, there's always a rush at the end. It's not too late to enter, the prizes are pretty good, a total of 1,000 euro. All the details are on this page. The Boyne Writers website also has links to previous winners and their winning entries.
